Nha Trang, Vietnam – Oct 20, 2011

Betty and Michael planned for us to visit Vinpearl for today.  Unfortunately, it was raining in the morning when we got off the boat.  Most of us decided to avoid the dangerous 纜車 in rainy day and changed the schedule to visit Nha Trang City only.  We visited the Long Son Pagoda to see a reclining Buddha and a white Sakyamuni (Shi-jia Fo) Buddha.  The white Shi-jia Fo Buddha sitting on a lotus pedestal, which erected in 1964-1965, 24m high not including it's pedestal being 14m high.

Then we visited Po Nagar Cham Tower and stopped by Café Sach to take some photos of beautiful landscapes of the coastal region of Nha Trang.

In the afternoon, we went back to the port area and the sky was cleared up.  Some of us still interested in going to Vinpearl to experience the beauty of this wonderful resort island.  Some of us were a little bit tired and went back to the boat.

Several of us took the gondola to cross the ocean to reach Vinpearl.  The ride itself was amazing and worth the time and money.  After we arrived Vinpearl, its beauty surprised us again.  With one ticket, we enjoyed amusing park rides, tranquilized park and garden, white sand beach, and the wonderful Vinpearl Underwater World.  It was the most beautiful spot of our Vietnam visiting.
